Patty Williams has lived music her entire life. She is the daughter of Larry Williams, Michigan's Father of Bluegrass fiddle. She plays the guitar and mandolin. Her most noted musical talent, however, is her voice. Patty's musical career began with her family band. When her son, Lare, branched out and started Lare Williams and New Direction, she was on board.
Patty felt that Bluegrass music needed better representation in Western Michigan and P. Williams Productions was born. She has strived to bring Bluegrass into the Western Michigan communities and to share her talent and love of music with many. Since it's start in 2003, P. Williams Productions has been a professional voice for local and national musicians. She has developed the best concert around in the Byron Goes Bluegrass concert series and she has brought Bluegrass to national television programming. She received a Telly award and a WKTV award in 2007 (see below). Patty continues to explore venues for Bluegrass music and continues to promote the music she knows and loves so well.
